Sorry to hear the Organic Ginger Tea Bags didn't have enough punch for you. It's just the dried, cut ginger root — Soil Association certified organic, nothing else added — so the warmth and peppery bite come entirely from how long it brews. We'd suggest 5–7 minutes in freshly boiled water, covered, to get the most out of it.
Worth knowing too: ginger's flavour varies naturally from one harvest to the next — how punchy it is depends on the variety grown, where and when it's picked, and how it's dried afterwards. So even within an organic crop, there's some variation in strength from batch to batch.
If you've already given it a full brew and it's still mild, the loose-leaf version (Organic Ginger Loose Tea) tends to give a stronger, more rounded cup — steep for 7 minutes, or simmer it gently for a few minutes for something punchier.
