Our 100% Organic Turmeric Capsules are Soil Association certified organic – and, like turmeric itself, the capsule shell we use is safe for vegans and vegetarians.
Each capsule contains 500mg of micro-milled turmeric powder, making it easier to consume for those who don't regularly cook with the spice or have time to blend a smoothie.
Regularly consuming turmeric may help support normal inflammation in the body as well helping to maintain a normal immune system.
Organic Turmeric's Bio-Active Compounds
The main active ingredient of turmeric powder is Curcumin, a powerful antioxidant that supports healthy inflammation. Regularly consuming whole turmeric powder helps the body maintain its 'Antioxidant Capacity' – antioxidants help the body neutralise free-radicals.

Our philosophy is one of natural health and as such, we adhere to those principles. Therefore, our organic turmeric powder capsules contain whole micro-milled turmeric root and not just curcumin extract like many of the other supplements available on the market. Whilst curcumin has been identified as the main active ingredient in turmeric, whole turmeric powder contains many other nutrients and compounds.
Currently, the recommended daily intake of turmeric powder is 1-2gm per day - this is a similar amount that would be consumed if you were to eat meals cooked with turmeric.
We believe taking turmeric should be sustainable, just as if you lived in South Asia, so our whole turmeric capsules each deliver 500mg or 0.5g of certified organic turmeric; 2-4 capsules a day equals a similar daily intake as you would receive if you cooked a meal that had turmeric as an ingredient.
Turmeric extracts may contain higher levels of curcumin, but they lack the micronutrients whole turmeric powder offers, which include significant amounts of omega-3, omega-6, iron and manganese, as well as a range of trace vitamins and minerals.

Organic Ginger Tea Bags
Anti-inflammatory
First came across this tea on holiday in Egypt decades ago and have since learned of its anti-inflammatory properties. I don’t like ordinary tea and hibiscus makes a nice change to coffee throughout the day. For a sweet tooth add a spoonful of honey for a warming winter drink, or chill in the fridge for a refreshing cool one, so versatile. Great price and super-fast delivery, won’t need to look elsewhere for my supplies.

I found it difficult to find a ginger tea without any additions (like liquorice) and have been very impressed by this ginger tea. It’s delicious on its own but occasionally I will add a little honey. A new favourite drink for me.

An excellent product
I've been buying these for a couple of years now and have only positive things to say about both the product and the company. The flavour is subtle, rather than strong, which will suit those who want the health benefits but are concerned that the ginger may be overpowering. ashwagandha that really does work
This ashwagandha from NHM really does work , they use the root which is the strongest and best form of ashwagandha which most other outlets dont do and within a few days of taking it the differences are very obvious , bought vitamins for many years from many outlets and NHM are just about the most ethical and fairly priced company i have ever come across , free first class delivery and free phone number i use to place my orders very hard to think of a better organic outlet than natural health market ---

Healthy tea.
Having lived in the far east for some time I used fresh lemon grass boiled to make a tea to help lower my blood pressure. It appeared to do this. Now living in the U.K. I discovered that Natural Health sold tea lemon grass tea bags. They make a nice tea and hopefully keep me healthy.
