Organic Moringa Leaf Powder — Pure Moringa oleifera | Finely Milled

Our Organic Moringa Leaf Powder is made from a single ingredient: certified organic moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), carefully dried and finely milled into a smooth green powder. The same leaf we use in our moringa capsules — sourced from India and packed in small batches at our family-run facility in Leicestershire. Soil Association certified, nothing added, nothing removed. Popularly known as “nature’s multivitamin” in recognition of its unusually broad nutritional profile, moringa leaf powder is one of the most versatile whole food ingredients you can add to your diet.

About moringa leaf

Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing tree native to the foothills of the Himalayas, cultivated widely across South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Its leaves have been used in Ayurvedic and traditional herbal practice for centuries, valued for their depth of nutrition and their mild, earthy flavour. India is our source — the origin with the longest history of documented traditional use and the growing conditions best suited to the plant. The leaves are harvested, gently dried to preserve their character, and milled into the fine, vibrant green powder you receive. The colour is a good indicator of quality: a deep, vivid green reflects careful drying at low temperatures.

Ways to use it

  • Smoothies and juices — stir or blend one teaspoon into a fruit or vegetable drink; banana, mango, and pineapple work particularly well with the earthy flavour
  • Warm drinks — whisk into warm (not boiling) water with a little honey and lemon for a simple moringa tea
  • Porridge and overnight oats — stir in a teaspoon before serving for a nutritional boost with a subtle green colour
  • Soups, stews and curries — stir in a teaspoon just before serving; heat-sensitive nutrients are better preserved when added off the heat
  • Salad dressings — blend into olive oil and lemon dressings for a vibrant green finish
  • Baking — add to bread, muffins, or savoury pastries for a natural green colour and extra nutritional depth
  • Energy balls and raw snacks — combine with nuts, dates, and oats for a simple no-bake snack

Frequently asked questions

What does moringa leaf powder taste like?

Mild, earthy, and slightly green — often compared to spinach or matcha, though less bitter than either. It blends unobtrusively into smoothies and is pleasant stirred into warm water with honey. The flavour is subtle enough that most people find it easy to use daily without masking other ingredients.

Why is moringa called “nature’s multivitamin”?

It is a popular colloquial description, not a regulated claim. It reflects the fact that moringa leaf has an unusually broad and varied nutritional profile — something that has been recognised in traditional herbal and Ayurvedic systems for a very long time. The nutritional table above gives the full picture.

How much moringa powder should I use per day?

A typical serving is one to two teaspoons (5–10g) per day. It is mild enough to use daily in food and drink without a strong flavour impact. There is no regulated upper limit for moringa as a food ingredient — if you have any health concerns, consult your GP.

Is moringa powder the same as moringa capsules?

Yes — we use the same certified organic moringa leaf powder in both products. The powder is for those who prefer to use it as a food ingredient; the capsules offer a fixed, portable daily dose with no measuring. If you take four of our capsules per day (2,000mg), that is roughly equivalent to just under half a teaspoon of powder.

Is this moringa powder organic?

Yes. It is Soil Association certified organic, sourced from certified organic farms in India.

Is moringa powder suitable for vegans?

Yes. It is a single-ingredient plant product with no animal-derived ingredients anywhere in the product or packaging.

Where does your moringa come from?

Our moringa leaf is sourced from India, where Moringa oleifera has the longest history of documented traditional use and where growing conditions are well suited to the plant.

How should I store moringa leaf powder?

Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal the pouch tightly after each use and use within six months for best colour and freshness. Avoid humid environments — moisture will cause the powder to clump.
