After years of research and trying all type of plant based protein powder one can imagine, this is the ONLY one that works perfectly. It has the highest protein content, the purest as it has nothing else but the main ingredient and that all shows at the time of digesting it. All other powders will give me a level the discomfort, bloating, etc... plus I always find them extremely sweet. This brown rice protein powder is excellent, it digests amazingly and it super versatile. You can flavour it as you wish, sweet, sour or neutral. If you struggle with digestion, I would suggest trying it as it may sort you out.

Quality product. Find it better to combine with other protein powders as this one is fairly dense when mixed with water. Can also be used for deserts and some baking. Recommended.

As a vegan, I mix rice protein with pea protein (also from NHM) so my body gets complete set of amino acids. Rice protein powder on its own, regardless of its origin, will always feel a bit gritty but mixing with pea protein makes it more palatable. I normally mix 2:1 (pea/rice) and add it to my keto porridge (almond flour, dessicated coconut, chia seeds, ground flax, erythritol, roasted pumpkin seeds, oat milk) and it blends super nice with the meal, you wouldn't know it's in there. I've been buying it from the Natural Health Market for around three years and I'll continue, as it's very good value for money for an organic product.
Bought together with organic pea protein powder. Mix them together. Both are very soluble and have a pleasant taste.

I can now confirm that our Organic Brown Rice Protein Powder does not use sprouted rice. The brown rice is processed using enzymatic extraction, which naturally helps reduce levels of phytic acid and improves digestibility — even without sprouting.

How much protein per scoop is the brown rice protein?

Our brown rice protein is 80% protein by weight, so in a 30g serving you’ll get around 24g of protein.
We don’t include a scoop in the pouch, but as a handy guide, two heaped tablespoons is roughly equivalent to 30g.

I have a severe nut allergy and also an auto-immune disease. I’m on a very limited diet but don’t feel like I’m getting enough protein in. I really like the look of your powder, however I’m conscious if there’s any cross contamination with nuts? I don’t mind it being made in a nut factory (most things are) but I just don’t want it to be made next to the nuts say. Hope I’m making sense and I know you can’t guarantee anything but just wanted to know so I feel safe purchasing. Thank you!

I completely understand your concerns, and you’re absolutely right to ask.
We don’t handle any allergens, including nuts, on site — our facility is solely dedicated to our own products, and we’re very careful with our ingredient sourcing and production processes.
That said, as a small batch producer, we don’t market our products as “free from” allergens. This is simply because we haven’t had them independently batch-tested for allergens — doing so for each small production run would unfortunately increase our pricing significantly. And contamination could have occured during the supply chain.
We prefer to be as transparent as possible so you can make the choice that’s right for you. If there’s anything else we can help with or clarify, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
