Nano Iron – Liquid Nano Mineral Suspension

Nano Iron is a pure liquid mineral made from just two ingredients: iron (elementary) and purified, energised water. The iron particles measure between 0.5 and 7 nanometres — among the smallest possible particle sizes — and remain stably suspended in the water. Bottled in dark violet Miron glass, this formulation contains no additives, preservatives, fillers, binders, or allergens of any kind. Tasteless and odourless. Suitable for the whole family.

Why Choose Nano Iron?

  • 100% elemental iron: Not bonded to salts or compounds — pure iron in purified water, nothing else.
  • Ultra-fine particles (0.5–7nm): Perfectly spherical particles under 10nm, small enough to pass through the blood-brain barrier.
  • Oral mucosal absorption: Held in the mouth, the particles are absorbed directly through the soft tissue of the oral mucosa — bypassing the digestive process entirely.
  • No stomach solubilisation required: Unlike compound iron supplements, Nano Iron does not need to be broken down in the stomach before uptake.
  • Tasteless and odourless: No metallic flavour or smell.
  • Biophotonic Miron glass: The dark violet glass permits only infrared and UV-A light to pass through, protecting the suspension from oxidation without the need for preservatives.
  • Suitable from 0–120 years: Including during pregnancy and breastfeeding — always follow healthcare professional guidance.

What is Nano Iron?

Most standard iron supplements — whether tablets, capsules, or liquids — contain iron in compound form, bonded to salts such as ferrous sulphate, ferrous fumarate, or ferrous gluconate. When you see two numbers on an iron supplement label, the larger number is the total chemical compound, and the smaller number is the elemental iron — the amount the body can actually use. That elemental iron must first be liberated from the compound in the gastrointestinal tract, a process that occurs throughout the digestive system and is the primary reason conventional iron supplements are associated with side effects such as stomach cramps, nausea, constipation, and disturbed gut flora.

Nano Iron is structurally different. It is 100% elemental iron — not bonded to anything. At a particle size of 0.5 to 7 nanometres, the particles are small enough to be absorbed directly through the soft tissue of the mouth (the oral mucosa — the mucous membrane lining of the gums, cheeks, and lips) when the liquid is held and swished in the mouth before swallowing. This means the iron does not pass through the digestive tract as conventional iron supplements do and does not require solubilisation in the stomach before uptake.

The liquid is tasteless and odourless, and is free from any additives, fillers, excipients, or allergens of any kind.

Understanding the Iron Content

Each 30 ml of Nano Iron contains approximately 0.75–0.9 mg of elemental iron. Because Nano Iron is 100% bioavailable (absorbed as whole particles rather than requiring liberation from a compound), the label uses iron bisglycinate as a reference point: 30 ml of Nano Iron equals 14 mg of iron bisglycinate (100% RI). Iron bisglycinate is a well-absorbed form of iron used as the reference standard for iron Reference Intake calculations.

This is an important distinction: the 14 mg figure reflects the equivalent absorbed dose, expressed in terms of a standard reference compound, not the actual amount of iron in the liquid.

How to Take Nano Iron

For best results, no food or drink should be consumed for at least 30 minutes before or after taking Nano Iron. Food and drink fill the spaces of the oral mucosa — the soft tissue of the gums, cheeks, and lips — through which the particles are absorbed.

Measure your daily amount, hold it in your mouth with a gentle swishing motion for 30 to 60 seconds, then swallow. Take it on an empty stomach.

If combining with other nano minerals, decant into a glass (not plastic) and consume immediately — do not stir. The particles can begin to coalesce if mixed and left to stand.

Always follow your healthcare professional's guidance, especially if they have recommended a specific iron intake for you.

This food supplement is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.

Adults — Standard Intake

  • Take 30–60 ml per day on an empty stomach.
  • Do not exceed 90 ml per day without guidance from a healthcare professional.
  • In severe cases, 90–120 ml per day may be taken under supervision of a healthcare professional.

Translating a Healthcare Professional's Recommendation

  • If recommended 15 mg of a regular iron supplement: approximately 30–35 ml of Nano Iron on an empty stomach.
  • If recommended 20–30 mg of a regular iron supplement: approximately 30–35 ml of Nano Iron twice a day on an empty stomach.

Children

  • 0–2 years: 5 ml daily (approx. 1 teaspoon)
  • 2–6 years: 10–15 ml daily (1–2 teaspoons)
  • 6–12 years: 20 ml daily (2–3 teaspoons)

Children's intake should always follow the guidance of a healthcare professional. Keep out of reach of small children.

FAQs

What makes Nano Iron different from standard iron supplements?

Standard iron supplements contain iron bonded to a compound (such as ferrous sulphate or ferrous gluconate) that must be broken down in the digestive tract before absorption. Nano Iron is 100% elemental iron — not bonded to anything — at a particle size of 0.5–7nm. It is absorbed through the soft tissue of the mouth rather than the gut, and does not require solubilisation in the stomach.

What does the iron content figure on the label mean?

Each 30 ml contains approximately 0.75–0.9 mg of elemental iron. The label states "equal to 14 mg iron bisglycinate (100% RI)" — this is a comparative reference figure using iron bisglycinate as the standard for calculating Reference Intake, not the physical iron content of the liquid. The two figures reflect different measurement frameworks.

Does it have a metallic taste?

No. Nano Iron is completely tasteless and odourless.

Why do I need to swish it in my mouth?

Holding the liquid in the mouth with a gentle swishing movement for at least 30 seconds allows the nanoparticles to be absorbed through the oral mucosa — the soft tissue lining of the mouth. This is the primary route of uptake. Food or drink consumed within 30 minutes before or after can reduce absorption by occupying the soft tissue surfaces.

Can I take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Nano Iron can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Always follow your healthcare professional's advice, especially if you have been given a specific iron recommendation.

Why is the bottle violet?

The dark violet Miron glass — which may appear black — permits only infrared and UV-A light to pass through. This protects the suspension from oxidation and light degradation without the need for preservatives. When finished, the bottle can be reused to store filtered water, seeds, or oils.

How should I store it?

Store upright in a cool, dry place. Best before: see side of bottle.
