Marine Collagen Capsules — 300mg | MSC Certified Norwegian Marine Collagen
Our Marine Collagen Capsules contain a single ingredient: hydrolysed collagen peptides from MSC certified wild-caught fish, produced in Norway and encapsulated at our family-run facility in Leicestershire. Each capsule delivers 300mg of the same pure Norwegian marine collagen we use in our powder — nothing else added. A convenient, no-measure daily format for those who prefer capsules to mixing powders into drinks. Available in our plastic-free aluminium tin or 100% paper refill pouch.
Which format is right for you?
One pot of 60 capsules provides a 30-day supply at the suggested dose of two capsules per day.
| Daily dose | Marine collagen per day | Supply | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 capsules | 600mg | 30 days | Daily convenience / travel / on-the-go |
For those wanting a higher daily intake of marine collagen, our Marine Collagen Powder provides up to 15g per day — the powder format makes larger serving sizes practical. The capsules are the convenient daily option; the powder is the higher-serving option.
Available in our reusable aluminium tin or our 100% paper refill pouch — both plastic-free and kerbside recyclable.
What’s inside — and what isn’t
Two ingredients. That’s the complete list.
- Hydrolysed Marine Collagen Peptides (from Fish) — 300mg per capsule
- Capsule shell: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC)
No magnesium stearate. No silicon dioxide. No fillers of any kind.
The capsule shell is HPMC — a plant-derived cellulose. Despite the plant-based shell, this product is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians as it contains marine collagen derived from fish.
About the collagen
The collagen in these capsules is the same Norwegian marine collagen peptide powder used in our Marine Collagen Powder — MSC certified, produced in Norway from the skin of wild-caught North Atlantic fish: cod (Gadus morhua), haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus), saithe (Pollachius virens), Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus), and Alaska pollock (Gadus chalcogrammus). The fish are sourced from FAO certified fishing areas in the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
The collagen is enzymatically hydrolysed into small peptides — a fine, instantly soluble powder with a neutral taste — before being encapsulated. Protein content is ≥95g per 100g. No carbohydrate, negligible fat, and completely neutral in taste. It is pure Type I collagen protein in its cleanest form.
What is MSC certification?
The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is the world’s leading independent standard for sustainable wild-capture fisheries. MSC certification means the fishery has been independently audited to verify sustainable fish stock management, minimal environmental impact, and full traceability from sea to finished product. It is the most credible sustainability certification available for wild-caught marine ingredients — and it applies to every batch of collagen we use, in both our powder and our capsules.
Why choose ours?
- MSC certified wild-caught Norwegian marine collagen. The same premium collagen as our powder — sustainably sourced, independently audited, fully traceable from North Atlantic fisheries to finished capsule.
- Norwegian provenance. Produced in Norway from wild-caught North Atlantic cod, haddock, saithe, and pollock — not farmed, not blended with lower-quality sources.
- 300mg per capsule, 600mg per serving. A clean, fixed daily dose with no measuring or mixing.
- Completely additive-free. No flowing agents, no binders, no fillers — marine collagen and an HPMC shell, nothing else.
- Made in-house in Leicestershire. Encapsulated and packed by our small family team in a SALSA-approved facility.
- Plant-based HPMC capsule shell. No gelatine in the shell — though the collagen itself is fish-derived and not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
- Plastic-free packaging. Reusable aluminium tin or 100% paper refill pouch — both kerbside recyclable.
How to take them
Take two capsules daily with water, ideally with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake of two capsules. Take separately from any medication if advised by your GP.

Frequently asked questions
Why take collagen capsules rather than powder?
Convenience and portability. Capsules need no measuring, no mixing, and no equipment — two capsules with a glass of water and you’re done. They are also easier to take when travelling. The trade-off is serving size: capsules deliver 600mg per day, while our powder delivers up to 15g — 25 times more per serving. The capsules are the everyday convenience option; the powder is for those who want a higher daily amount.
Is this the same collagen as in the powder?
Yes — exactly the same MSC certified Norwegian marine collagen peptide powder, produced from wild-caught North Atlantic fish. The only difference is format: the powder lets you take a larger daily serving; the capsules give you a fixed, convenient dose with no measuring.
What does MSC certified mean?
The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is the world’s leading independent body for sustainable wild-capture fisheries. MSC certification means the fishery has been independently audited to verify sustainable stock management, low environmental impact, and full chain-of-custody traceability from sea to finished product. It is the most credible sustainability mark available for wild-caught marine ingredients.
What fish is the collagen made from?
Wild-caught cod (Gadus morhua), haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus), saithe (Pollachius virens), Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus), and Alaska pollock (Gadus chalcogrammus) from the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Produced in Norway under MSC certification.
How much collagen is in each capsule?
Each capsule contains 300mg of pure hydrolysed marine collagen peptides. Two capsules (the suggested daily serving) provides 600mg. One pot of 60 capsules gives a 30-day supply at this dose.
Are these capsules suitable for vegans or vegetarians?
No. The capsule shell is plant-based HPMC, but the collagen inside is derived from fish skin. Marine collagen is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. It is suitable for pescatarians.
Where is the collagen produced?
The marine collagen is produced in Norway from MSC certified wild-caught fish. It is then encapsulated and packed by our family-run team in Leicestershire, UK.
What is the difference between the tin and the pouch?
The reusable aluminium tin is solid, resealable, and built to last — it is the refillable option. The 100% paper refill pouch contains exactly the same product — letterbox-friendly and designed to be decanted into your tin once empty. Both are plastic-free and kerbside recyclable.
Is the capsule shell gelatine-free?
Yes. The shell is made from HPMC (Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), a plant-derived cellulose. There is no gelatine in the shell. However, the collagen content is fish-derived and the product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
How should I store these capsules?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the tin or pouch sealed between uses. Avoid humid environments such as bathrooms.
Also available as powder

MSC certified. Norwegian wild-caught. Made in Britain.
The same premium Norwegian marine collagen as our powder, in a convenient capsule format — two ingredients, no additives, encapsulated by our small family team in Leicestershire. Sustainability certified, plastic-free, and exactly what it says on the tin.
