Turmeric Tea, also known as Turmeric Milk or Golden Milk has been drunk for many centuries in India. It is still loved till this day due to a number of health-boosting properties. Though there are many sites explaining the health benefits of Turmeric, including the BBC read the article here) we are going dive straight in and share a great yet simple recipe that is quick to prepare and tastes great!
Take a small saucepan and heat the milk for 3 to 5 minutes ensuring it does not boil.
Add the Turmeric and Chai tea bags to the milk allowing them to infuse for around 5 - 8 minutes. If you prefer stronger flavours we recommend leaving them to infuse in for 10 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and gently stir in the honey until it has been completely absorbed.
Pour the golden milk into your favourite cups and sprinkle with a little cinnamon for added flavour.
