Here at The Natural Health Market, we have found Peppermint Tea to be one of our most popular teas. Similarly to other herbal tea, peppermint tea is often used to treat and soothe a broad range of symptoms throughout the centuries, looking at the archaeological evidence, people have been drinking peppermint tea for over 10,000 years for precisely these reasons.
One of the main reasons we think that peppermint tea is so popular is because of the fresh tingly-ness it provides that can be enjoyed in every cup. Peppermint tea delivers a sweet and zesty flavour; this is probably why it's so widely used in tisane infusions.
Not many people know, but Peppermint is a cross between water mint and spearmint known as Mentha Piperita in the scientific world.
Peppermint is native to Europe, but due to the wide range of uses peppermint is now grown all over the world and is a global commodity, further to this peppermint tea is enjoyed by many in all corners of the globe.
If you are looking for a delicious and refreshing way to boost the overall health of your body, then our peppermint tea could be precisely what you are looking for. Our freshly harvested peppermint tea can improve the digestive system and help reconnect body-mind, relieving stress and anxiety in many.
Traditional Uses of Peppermint Tea
As you would expect with such a widely available herbal tea the reported health benefits are almost endless, the traditional uses span a broad range of applications, a few you may not have heard are it may improve bad breath, assist weight management and generally boost the body's immune system.
The active ingredient in Peppermint tea is Peppermint Oil, and we have been told by our customers that our peppermint tea works just as well.
There is only one ingredient in our mint tea, and that is 100% crushed and rubbed peppermint leaves. It is a caffeine-free drink, and many people use peppermint tea as a relaxing drink to enjoy before bed to help support a good night’s sleep. Peppermint tea is especially famous for this reason when someone suffers from sensitive sleep patterns.
Our peppermint tea is easy to enjoy; you can use an infuser with one teaspoon of peppermint tea leaves per pot and then brew to your taste, ideally 3-5 minutes, but this is dependent on how minty you would like your refreshing drink to be. Likewise, add half a teaspoon to an infuser with one of our other varieties of herbal tea to make your own blend of tisane.
Here at The Natural Health Market, we have also found another way for our peppermint tea to be enjoyed, and we can assure when you’ve tried it once you won’t go back. Pop some peppermint tea into your hot chocolate for a truly delicious chocolaty mint treat... you’ll wonder how you ever lived without the hit of mint in your hot chocolate before!

Im addicted to the this turmeric! I have terrible inflammation in my joints and this is the only one thing that actually helps and believe me I’ve tried all pain killers and anti inflammatory tablets.
Incredible natural multivitamin!
So much better than powder so much easier *****
Love Moringa! natures all round multi mineral and vitamin. Great service, products and ethics from TNHM
Delighted to find yerba mate tea in a bag form, organic as well. Was introduced to yerba mate tea by an Argentinian friend, who brews it in her proper "pot with a spout"& used as a sharing device with friends. It's an acquired taste, but I love it & it gives a boost instead of coffee. Very happy with service & purchase.
Strong & fresh-tasting peppemint tea-temples,one of the nicest I've had.
I bought these to take on holiday as I usually use the powder. Service was excellent and product looks good, I am sure it will be really good and so convenient for when I am away
Bought some psyllium husk and it's been great.
I'll be buying this again.
Best ginger tea bags around. No nasties just pure dried ginger. Love them. They help my vestibular migraines so much. I won’t buy them anywhere else. Thanks guys ❤️
Good quality. Fair price. Fast delivery. Thank you.
Due to having a sensitive tummy, my wife decided to try ginger tea for its aid in digestion and anti-inflammatory properties. Also she suffers from burning mouth syndrome and she discovered that ginger tea really helps her with this too. As she can no longer drink black tea as it is too acidic for her, and has never drunk coffee, she tried many different brands of ginger tea and now this is the only ginger tea for her and has stayed loyal for the last 18 months.
It tastes so pure and alleviates all her symptoms. she likes the ethos of the company and the family feel and also likes to support this type of business.
She takes their ginger tea everywhere with her in her tea tin in her handbag so she is a fully committed customer of The Natural Health Market.
This cacao is very good, it tastes like the best, and I've tried a few. It comes from a good source and is such good value, I can highly recommend it. I don't cook with it, as I don't want to destroy the polyphenols.
We have been buying this for years. We are big coffee in the morning people. However, we now enjoy this tea as a nice alternative. We haven't given up coffee but have definitely reduced how many morning coffees we have.
This is the first time we have ordered this tea. We have never liked chamomile tea before but after seeing some reviews, we decided to give it a go. We are so glad we did. It's a lovely tea. A lovely appley flavour. We will definitely be ordering again.
Perfect tea. Love this brand. I always buy my supplements from here.
Have been getting this for years but now full of big stems which make a bit of a mess getting the tea from the bag/container into the tea ball/infuser.
very pleasant taste value for money would buy again
how did i not find this sooner! so lovely and such an affordable price! love it and tastes amazing
The item tasted of plastic and as a peppermint tea drinker I was unable to drink it and threw it out
